GOALS AND CHALLENGES IN MY LIFE

Dear teacher,

Hello, my name is Sergi, a student of second batxillerat, and I’m going to explain you my short and long-goals that I am expecting to achieve a long the track. I’ll also,  include possible challenges that I will meet and struggle to overcome them.

Nowadays, my goals that I want to achieve in the next few years (in batxillerat and other studies) is to earn good grades, higher as possible, so I’ll need to make a big effort to succeed in my studies. Besides, it will be essential not to give up , keep going, click with teachers and fit in. If one day I turn to the worse I’ll learn from my failures, I’ll never drop out of school, I’ll keep going and struggle again and again to make my parents feel proud of me and don’t let them down.

My long-term goals are to become an investigator related with earth sciences and chemistry, this are the subjects that most attract me and I like them so much, so I’ll make an effort and succeed in this world.

Possible challenges that I could find along the way are to struggle against other people mostly, so I’ll give my best and face the challenge as a big goal. I’ll ask for help if it’s necessary, because I don’t feel weak asking, I’ll feel stronger and learn from others who can teach me. If it’s true that you become good at things which you make a big effort, I’ll refuse to give up, I’ll set my own goals and focus in my favorite subjects.

I’ll stay on the track till the end and if I feel depressed for something, my friends and my family will support me to keep going, meet my goals and be successful. I don’t think I’m a troublemaker, but sometimes there are moments that you have to be it to overcome the difficulties.

OBAMA’S SENTENCE I LISTEN TO:

-          “The circumstances of your life (what you look like, where you come from,…) , none of that is an excuse for neglecting your homework … There is no excuse for not trying, you write your own destiny, your own future”.       (10’32’’ – 11’07’’)

I like this sentence because you always have to try your own best and don’t let other people write or decide your future. You think, make your mind up and walk along the way you like. Also, it doesn’t matter from where you are, all people is able to study and work, but money it’s making it difficult.
